Introduction. Some time ago i wrote a journal explaining why using the expression “Art theft” was not, in my opinion, the best of ideas, and the word plagiarism should be used instead. As it turns out, someone from the staff has created a nice presentation explaining why “Art theft can be stealing” trying to settle things out. Warning: This journal entry has some MATH in it. I know some people panic when they hear that word. Okay. On previous posts on this topic, i've discussed how some simple math can give us predictive power on where any deviation will be placed in a text search. The same tools can be used to find out about the big numbers behind dA (With a certain degree of accuracy).
